Routes

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Please arrive at the ride location with enough time to have your bike ready to roll at the scheduled time.
Also it is recommended that you bring tire tools, frame pump, spare tube, patch kit and water bottle to all rides.
A helmet is legally required for all minors and OCW REQUIRES THAT ALL ADULTS WEAR A HELMET.

Earphones are illegal and unsafe. Please remember that the California Vehicle Code applies to bicycles.

ROUTE INFORMATION:

There are 4 routes to choose from.

17 Mile Family Route with one rest stop and about 200 feet of elevation gain.

26 Mile Short Route with one rest stop and about 1200 feet of elevation gain up a couple gradual hills.

39 Mile Half Metric+ route with two rest stops and about 2000 feet of elevation gain on some rolling hills.

65 Mile Metric Route with three rest stops and about 3800 feet of elevation gain with one major long climb up La Pata.

Family Route

17 Mile ride thru Woodbridge, Westpark, Tustin Legacy, Tustin Ranch and Irvine.  200 feet of elevation gain.

Short Route

26 Mile ride thru Great Park, Portola Springs, Foothill Ranch, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Irvine Spectrum and East Irvine.  1200 feet of elevation gain on gradual hills going up Ridge Valley and Alton up to Foothill Ranch.

Half Metric+

39 Mile ride thru Great Park, Portola Springs, Foothill Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita, Las Flores. Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Irvine Spectrum and East Irvine.  2000 feet of elevation gain on rolling hills.

Metric Route

65 Mile ride thru Great Park, Portola Springs, Foothill Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita, Las Flores, Mission Viejo, Rancho Mission Viejo, uup La Pata, Marblehead, San Clemente, Capistrano Beach, Dana Point, Monarch Beach, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, Irvine Spectrum and East Irvine.  3800 feet of elevation gain.
