GENERAL INFORMATION:

Please arrive at the ride location with enough time to have your bike ready to roll at the scheduled time.
Also it is recommended that you bring tire tools, frame pump, spare tube, patch kit and water bottle to all rides.
A helmet is legally required for all minors and OCW REQUIRES THAT ALL ADULTS WEAR A HELMET.

Earphones are illegal and unsafe. Please remember that the California Vehicle Code applies to bicycles.

If the ride is cancelled, the calendar will be updated at least 1 hour prior to the ride start time with the word “CANCELLED”.


Orange County Bike Rally

A Celebration of Orange County Cyclists

The Bicycle Club of Irvine in collaboration with Orange County Wheelmen invite other OC cycling groups and riders to gather for group club rides.

This will be followed by a 'box lunch' picnic on the lawn to share our love of cycling.

Saturday, June 28th - Rides are FREE - Box lunches available for $10

Staggered starts with 5 ride options: 18 miles at 9, 26 and 31 miles at 8:30, 43 miles at 8:00 and 50 miles at 7:30.

Arrive early to sign in and pick up route slip before ride starts.

OCW members, register by June 26, on the BCI website

Box Lunch  will be $10.00.

Limited tables, so plan for a picnic on the lawn; bring a chair or picnic blanket to sit on. Wear your club jersey / team kit.

We have reserved a picnic area.  Look for the BCI/ OCW signs

DIRECTIONS: Turtle Rock Community Park, Irvine

  • Take the 405 Freeway to Culver Dr exit South.
  • Go 1.4 miles to Campus and turn Left.
  • Go 0.4 mile to Turtle Rock and turn right.
  • Go 1.9 miles to park entrance.
  • Turn right into parking lot.
