Spring Metric - About the Ride

REQUIREMENTS: HELMETS ARE MANDATORY: Waiver/Release forms MUST be signed and you MUST show us your helmet at the event registration check-in table. All roads will be open to regular traffic. Cyclists are responsible for obeying all traffic laws.
 
RIDE DESCRIPTION:
 
This is a ride on the roads of Orange County and the Inland Empire.  MTBs are acceptable but most riders use a road bike.  There are no off road dirt trails, all riding is on public streets with vehicular traffic.  Failure to comply California Vehicle Code may result in a citation.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES: Route Slips of your choice,  Food/Rest Stop, Roving Sag Support. END OF THE RIDE PIZZA,  with Drinks served.

 Check-In Opens: 8:00 a.m.
Start Time: 8:30 am
THERE IS NO MASS START
You can begin your ride anytime after registration

This years routes include:
Short Route
50 Mile Route
Lowland Metric
Highland Metric
Gravel Route

Course Closes: 4:00 p.m.

The ride starts at Yorba Regional park Shelter #4.

There is a $5.00 Entry Fee for all vehicles entering the Park!

YOU MUST BE AN OCW MEMBER TO REGISTER
 
This ride is now open to non members. a $15 day of ride cash payment will be required at Registration
 
Once you become a member and remit your annual member fee then all of the Quarterly Metrics are Free !

How to join the Orange County Wheelmen

To Join Orange County Wheelmen it is a 2 part process:

 

 
PART 1 - FOLLOWS
  1. Create your OCW website login    Click here to create your account
  2. Suggested Account ID is First Name Initial+Last Name+Birthyear.  (i.e. Michael Lee 1956 would be mlee1956 or mlee56)
  3. Create Password for account login (8 Characters min)
  4. You will be sent a confirming email with a link to confirm your account, click on the link inside the email.  YOUR WEBSITE ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE ACTIVATED IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THIS STEP.
  5. This website will safeguard your data.  You will need your account ID and password to access all the features of the website.
