Ride packets will be available from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the Friday evening prior to the event.
SATURDAY CHECK-IN:
Registration check-in will be open from 5:30 am. until 6:45 am. We want all riders to be rolling by 7:00 am. There will be no mass start.
Course closes at 3:30 p.m. This course will have roving SAG support and the last 30 miles will be swept by vehicles one hour before close of course.
ALL RIDERS MUST SIGN IN AT CHECK-IN TABLE AT THE END OF RIDE
Ride Around the Bear: Check-in Information
Hi Riders,
We are a week away and there are only 2 more days of registration.
Here is what you will need for check in. Your Drivers license and your signed waiver with Rider number that will be sent on Monday, June 3, 2013. Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive it.
You will receive at check in your Jersey and/or T-Shirt, rider wristband, extra meal tickets, route slip. Be sure to attach you wristband on your left wrist. This is also your meal ticket and bar code scanner for timing.
The weather is warming up but we will be ready with plenty of water and fuel to keep you climbing. The route slip will be posted when finialized.
Have a safe ride. you can start the ride as soon as timing is set up by 5:30 am or first light. Check the website under the Events - Bear area for all the latest.

Final Instructions to Bear Riders 2012
Hi Bear Riders
The rider envelopes have all been prepared but there are a couple of things you will need to know. Some Riders will recieve just a wristband with the Bar code for timing and some will receive an Orange Wristband with a helmet bar code label for timing. If you receive the orange wristband you will also find a 1x2.5 label to be placed on your helmet for timing. Those that receive the WHITE wristband with bar code you are fine.
All Day of registration riders, be patient since you will have to complete all the registration information that was collected when it was online. Including waiver form.
The radio comminication team is ready to go. The signs are on the road and the local businesses know we are coming. CHP will be patrolling, Ride safe, follow the rules of the road, and have a great day.
